2024年カレンダーのテーマは「人と植物」。
私自身の日常で目に止まった植物、植物を育てる人や愛でる人など描きました。

今回のカレンダーは月が終わった後にイラスト部分をポストカードとして使えるように切り取れるミシン目を入れました。

このアイデアはアメリカで活躍するアーティスト兼デザイナーのイザベラ・アクタルシェナスさんの「The plantable Calendar 2020 」を参考にさせて頂いてます。アイデア探しにPinterestで彼女の作品を見つけて「ミシン目のあるカレンダーの形状を倣わせてもらえませんか？」とコンタクトを取り、快く承諾してくれました。ありがとうございます！

彼女の「The plantable Calendar 2020 」は環境に配慮された、イラストもコンセプトも本当に素敵な作品です。紙素材に卵パックなど紙ゴミとなった古紙を再生し、植物の種を漉きこんだ、環境に優しいシードペーパーを使用していて、インクには毒性のない水性インクでスクリーン印刷されてます。

The theme of the 2024 calendar is "People and Plants".
I drew plants that caught my eye in my daily life, people who grow them, and people who love them.

This calendar has perforated line so that the illustrations can be cut out after the month is over so that they can be used as postcards or whatever you want:)

This idea is based on "The Plantable Calendar 2020" by Isabella Akhtarchenas, an American artist and designer. I was looking for ideas and found her work on Pinterest, and I contacted her and asked, she happily agreed. thank you so much!

Her "The Plantable Calendar 2020" is an eco-friendly work with really beautiful illustrations and concepts. The paper material is recycled waste paper from egg cartons and other paper waste, and uses eco-friendly seed paper made with plant seeds, and the ink is screen printed with non-toxic water-based ink.
